Ranking The Rankings
There’s no shortage of college rankings—but they don't always agree. So instead of relying on just one, we went ahead and combined the three biggest and most important ones out there: U.S. News, QS World Rankings, and Times Higher Education.
By averaging their results, we created a consensus ranking of the top 50 universities in America for 2026. Some schools landed exactly where you’d expect…but a few will definitely surprise you.
