New Data Reveals How The World Really Feels About America Right Now—And It Isn't Good

How Do You Really Feel?

Will the United States have a positive influence on world affairs? That's the question the Ipsos research firm asked people in 29 different countries (including the United States itself) in September and October of 2024, and again in March and April of 2025—and how their answers changed in those six short months is significant

What countries have an improved opinion of America today—and in which countries is America's reputation at possibly all-time lows? Spoiler Alert: Where Canada sits on this list is shocking.

We will look at the ranking in descending order (% believing America will have a positive influence)—starting with the country that has the highest opinion of the United States at this time, while also comparing each current percentage to how that country felt back in October of 2024.

We will also point out some key findings amongst the data as well...

Key Findings: Global Country Average

April 2025: 46%

October 2024: 60%

Across all 29 countries surveyed, the average percentage who believe America will have a positive influence on world affairs dropped a somewhat staggering 14% in the six months between the two polls.

And now the ranking...
