Methodology

This ranking comes from ExploreWorldWide and takes into consideration five factors:

Bike infrastructure data (based on the miles of protected bike lanes and miles of bike lanes overall); Bikeshare reports (available bike sharing programs and infrastructure); Bike commuter ranking (how many people per capita commute by bike); Temperature (and the average hottest and coldest days in each city); and Safety ratings for bicyclists.

Ancient Ship

Archaeologists uncovered a 300-year-old shipwreck with sonar and soon realized they'd found one of the Caribbean's most notorious pirate lairs.

For years, people called it a legend. Then, in 2015, a sonar pinged near Baru Island, and suddenly, the gold-laden ship was very real. Everyone, from archaeologists to the government, wants a piece—the wreckage has just started talking.
